1. Services

Golden Ledger Consulting provides financial consulting, bookkeeping, accounting setup, and related business services. Our services are professional in nature and are provided based on our expertise and experience.

We are not a CPA firm and do not provide tax preparation, audit, or legal services. We may collaborate with your existing CPA, attorney, or other professionals as needed.

2. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Communicate changes in business circumstances promptly
• Review and approve all work before implementation
• Make timely payments according to agreed terms

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements. Generally, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur additional fees.

We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts that are past due until payment is received.

4. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and business affairs. We will not disclose client information to third parties without written consent, except as required by law or professional standards.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific services in question.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or any errors or omissions.

6. Professional Standards

We adhere to professional standards and best practices in our field. However, clients are responsible for making final business decisions based on our recommendations and their own judgment.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination, payment is due for all services rendered through the termination date. We will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning work to another provider.

8. Intellectual Property

All methodologies, templates, and proprietary processes remain the intellectual property of Golden Ledger Consulting. Client data and customized deliverables belong to the client.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Virginia.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
